Q: Should I buy a salvaged GTO?
I have seen this nice GTO for sale on ebay and the seller is Dealer from the state am in.
the car has 65500 miles, automatic
He didnt mention that it was salvaged but he does say that the car was bought from an auction that stated the car was sold a frame damage. He explains that new car dealers do that because its a uni-body frame…. any suggestions….he wants $12000 which is also redicolus lol …I might tell him $7500 to $8000 what you guys think
The car is auto and a 2004 model
A: I wouldn’t touch it.
My opinion – anyone that pays more than $500 for a salvaged car is a fool.
Things you need to take into consideration before you buy it:
1) You won’t be able to get financing for it. Lenders don’t lend money for salvaged vehicles because you won’t be able to get full coverage insurance on it. I hope you have the full purchase price in cash.
2) You will be lucky if you can get it insured at all. If you do get it insured, it will be for liability only. An insurance company already declared it a total loss on this vehicle and paid out a big settlement. No insurance company will do it again on the salvaged title.
3) The car may not pass safety standards – i.e. may be missing airbags or may not have been put back together properly.
4) You are more likely to have many more problems with a salvaged vehicle. From electrical to engine. Who knows what happened to it and the qualifications of the mechanic that put it together?
Q: Does anyone have a 1968-1969 all original Pontiac GTO project car for Trade or sale?
I have a 1979 Trans Am project car that is fully load up for trade. All original maybe a Y84 because it has the large sail panel’s and the Phoenix on the hood with all the SE pin striping. Tan steering wheel every thing Tan Interior quarter panels. Bezel dash Gold but faded. SnowFlake Allumium rims gold and silver side wall. With chrome locks for rims. It also has allumium black louvers and silver trim around the outside of the doors. All Original I am the second owner. paint faded from Sun. San Antonio Tx car.
A: Yes
Q: Why so many trade-ins on the GTO?
I see a lot of low mileage, pre-owned GTO’s for sale. What’s the deal? Are they too fast for some people, or is there some specific problem?
The GTO with a 6.0 is crazy-fast, if you know how to drive,,,,,and the looks are something you think about before you buy a car.
Does anyone have an intelligent answer?
A: Its not like they stopped making them 10 years ago, they stopped in 06.Most of them should be lower mileage, most people put around 12k miles or so on their car a year. With the gto coming out in 2004 that would put the 04’s around 50k miles now for a rough average. Some people probably thought there was some collectors value in them and decided to keep the miles lower. But decided to sale them once their popularity dropped.People seemed to like them when they came out but they just arent a very appealing car to most people now.Not to mention their looks.
A GTO with an LS2 is a 12 second car with good tires and a good driver.Since when is running 12’s slow for a daily driver?
Q: i want an 06 gto, and ive found one with veryyyy low miles for almost half original sale price… good buy?
18k otd, 9k miles, almost perfect condition..
18k otd, 9k miles, 1 owner of three years, no accidents, perfect in and out, no need to finance, trade+cash.
A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.yoll.net
Q: how to buy a car in a personal sale in a different state?
My friend is selling me GTO for 10k. Its a personal sale and he lives in VA and I live in NY.
List the steps of what to do to officially buy a car in a personal sale in another state.
List it like step 1, step 2, step 3 exc. because it will make things easier to understand. Thank You
A: step one……hand your friend $10k
step two…….your friend endorses (signs) the appropraite location on his title for the car. it will specify a place for the seller to sign.
step three…..this step is optional, but not a bad idea. make out a bill of sale. I so and so sell this vehicle whatever year and make and model, plus VIN, to you on this date…..have him sign.
step four……..he hands you keys, you shake hands (or a big manly hug if that’s where you two are at) and
you drive away !!!
step 5….enjoy your new car !
Q: mitsubishi gto?

Q: What can you tell me about the 1994 Pontiac GTO?
I have tried searching on the web but I am not getting anything on the 1994 model. I was looking at purchasing it from a local dealer who has one for sale but I need more info then what he says :p Thank you in advance
A: It doesn’t exist. There is a 2004, 2005, or 2006. The paper made a typo. The GTO died out in the 1970’s, and made a three year comeback as a rebadged Holden.
Q: i love my dads 70′ gto judge?
i just got to drive my dad 1970 gto judge. its been in the garage for a while but my dad finally let me drive it around our neighbor hood. unfortunately its in show room condition, and were i wrecked 4 times and gotten 3 speeding tickets he wont let me drive it any were near little to none. s i was wondering if any know were a 1970 gto judge is for sale. i dont want or could afford a gto in show room condition. so i want one that’s in restorable condition. i know a lot about cars so ill know if its lejit. it has to be a judge, other wise there’s no reason for Restoration. i checked online, but nothing. i checked on ebay and found a clone, i said fuck that. so if any has or know any one who has a judge for sale please, contact me on email or by comment. im bmdgto@yahoo.com
A: good luck

Q: In Leon Gto, What is that shopping area near the bus station reffered to?
There is alot of shoes/leather for sale there, and i think there is a mall of shoe stores. It might be reffered to as Central. I want to know, so I can go there
A: I think Central refers to the bus station actually, but in Leon you may find many places to buy leather shoes and bags. Even at the mall.
A place I recommend “LA GALERIA DEL ZAPATO”, PLAZA PIEL AND PLAZA DEL ZAPATO.
really the shoe quality is great, the only problem you will be having is what pair of shoes to buy. They are cheap because they are actually made there.
Q: How do I remove the hood scoops from a 2006 GTO??
Id like to remove the mesh part of the hood scoop to change its color. I took off the rubber piece under the hood but cant figure out how to remove the rest. Ive seen these for sale on ebay, so I know they come out somehow. Thanks!!
A: This may help you out w/ your project on the scoop baffles.
Good luck!
