67 mustang fastback for sale
A great and must read article: 67 mustang fastback for sale
Q: Were can you find a 67 fastback mustang for sale?
A: Try looking around local newspapers first so you can actually drive out and test drive the car and inspect it. Ebay is good but pictures are not always accurate, be careful for rust buckets. Craigslist is also a good search look around and compare prices because fastbacks are high in price.
Q: 67/68 Mustang FASTBACK for sale near Mississippi?
Anyone know of someone selling a 67/68 fastback that is on OK condition that lives near Ocean Springs, MS? I’m looking for a project.
A: Im from MS as well. If your familar with tradewinds magazine check there. They are also online at Tradewinds.com. It covers over half the state on auto sales, sporting goods, trucks and such. There was 2 in there a couple of weeks ago in the 67 model for restoration purposes. Good luck on the rare ones like that.
Q: What does the 2+2 of the 67 mustang fastback mean?
I keep seeing 67′ Mustang Fastback 2+2 For Sale in my search for a project car. But what does the 2+2 mean?
Thanks Bobby C. Yeah I figured it was a simple answer but it just wasn’t clicking. Thanks again.
Well after having conflicting answers given I decided I’d do some more research when I wasn’t sure if Bobby C or Paul M was correct. But in the end Bobby C. you are correct. And Paul M. I don’t know how you managed to pull that out of your ass. The Mustang GT Models recieved dual exhaust and a limited slip rear differential. (Positraction?) I take it your a chevy man
A: Simple it means a four seater 2front2rear.
Q: Trying to find a Mustang ‘67, ‘68 Fastback!!?
I’m in Australia trying to track down one of these babies in a rolling shell condition to restore. I have been on the hunt for about 2 months and haven’t found anything in that condition. Does anyone know the whereabouts of one for sale????? I have $12,000 to spend on one.
A: I tend to stay away from Unique Cars magazine, because pretty much everything is way overpriced. They will have what you’re after, but at inflated prices. You’re better off (to find a bargain) in the Tradingpost or The Quokka.
If you do intend to stick with UniqueCars, have a look at the website that goes with it. Uniquecarsales.com.au, they’ve got everything in the magazine listed, as well as more stuff not in the mag.
Also, talk to a car importer that specialises in importing US steel. You don’t even have to go through them (if you do, they’ll give you an agent stateside which is handy to check titles and inspect the car). I know a guy who privately located a ‘66 in California and had an associate over there check it out for him, then arranged for an importer to bring it into the country. He got it shipped really cheap too, because they had extra room in one of their containers to fill anyway (very rare opportunity for whole cars, but this type of arrangement can be commonly made with spare parts to fill up extra space in a container). Lucky guy. Cobra imports I think they were called, it’s been a few years.
A bare rolling shell should only cost you several grand. Well short of $12,000, by any means. Just be wary when looking at US cars (already in the country or not) – Americans tend to half arse even their ‘good quality’ restorations..
..they usually slap some paint on, re trim the interior, and throw on some period alloys. Lift the hood and it’ll be 40 years of spiderwebs, lift the heads and it’ll be 40 years of wear.
